White Fungus Chicken Soup

I have long time do not cook. This Saturday was a bit free and browse the forum got this soup recipe. The soup seem tasty. And the important is I have all the ingredients. But I don't really like to eat white fungus..-.-"

Ingredients:

2 chicken drums, White fungus, 1 tbsp qi zi(杞子), 15-20 red dates

Methods:

Deep the white fungus in water for more than 3 hours (to make it soften and easy to cook). Then boil one bowl of water then put in the chicken and white fungus together. After the chicken nearly done and fungus getting soften, put in qizi and red dates. Add salt to taste. Serve hot.

This is my own secret recipe. :D

Just boil the water with tomato sauce, chili sauce, salt and sugar. Then put all the ingredients you like to eat, I put squid ball and crabstick. When everything is almost done, add in one egg. It is just simple and nice.

Homemade Pineapple + Lemon Enzyme 自制酵素

I have been thinking for making this enzyme for long time. Yesterday just meet an old friend in MSN, she was taking about this enzyme. She is making quite a lot for her father with high cholesterol. This really attract me. As I have been searching for a reference person to ask a lot of questions. Right after talk to her, I straight away went to the nearer supermarket find for the right container, fruits and brown sugar. But failed! Seem glass container is hard to find.
Finally this morning get to buy a glass container - RM9.90. I am not sure how many liter is that. Then I bought 1 packet of brown sugar from those traditional chinese farmasi, 1 nos pineapple, and 2nos lemon. I only use 1psc of the brown sugar as my friend said that is enough.

Here is my Pineapple + Lemon Enzyme ..

Have to wait for another 2-3 weeks only can drink. Waiting for 14th December~~

Christmas is an annual holiday celebrated on December 25 that marks and honors the birth of Jesus of Nazareth [Quoted from Wikipedia]. Modern customs of the holiday include gift-giving, church celebrations, and the display of various decorations—including the Christmas tree, lights, bell, and ect.

I am not a christian, but Christmas is a lovely festival that I always looking forward. Christmas is coming the way - 1 month and 3 days more~ I will on leave for the whole week, going back my hometown - Malacca.

Posted below my Christmas Tree that I decorated last year. Although it is not so well made. But I will try to make it different this year! Hope so....:D

English Blog?!

Yes! I want to make my blog to be in english. Want to make it friendly to everybody around the world. People advise me to translate all my previous blogs into english. But.....it is quite hard for me, as I am always be the lazy one..:D
No matter English or Chinese, I will stil continue to share the foods I cook, the meal I eat, the person I meet, of course all the things happen around me.

又败了recipe book。。

这星期真的买了很多东西，花了很多钱。等了很久就是要等popular card有20%discount。
刚好学校假期，popular又进了很多新书。买了一本新年菜的recipe book，初一到十五的recipe都有。希望真的有机会学会每一道菜咯。

Slow Cooker Porridge

已经很久没尝试煮不同的食物了。现在就放我用slow cooker煮的粥。
那天突然想在隔天早上就能吃热腾腾的粥，就想到柴鱼花生粥。和housemate借了slow cooker就去买材料，但是我的是鸡丝花生粥。
我在晚上9点多时才开始，不需半小时就弄好了。就等着隔天软绵绵的粥。酷吧？

Hit 1000!!

终于hit到1000了。写了几个月，现在才有1000的成绩。虽然不是什么特别好的成绩，但是我会加油的。谢谢咯！！

Spaghetti (11-Oct-08)

星期六一个人的午餐，真的不知要吃些什么。所以就迟到2.30pm才开始煮我的午餐。本来想出去打包面的，但是翻翻冰箱看看还剩什么，就想煮意大利面好了。这不中不西的spaghetti里有海鲜丸，豆腐扑，onion，和煎蛋。

炒饭，sambal炒长豆虾，玉蜀黍汤 (5-Oct-08)

这一餐吃得很饱，除了这3样以外，还有炒包菜。如果餐餐都吃那么多，真的不肥也难咯。哈哈。。

我这次的炒饭没放黑酱油了，放了洋葱，mix vege和鸡蛋。但是mix vege放得太早，都很硬，有点失败。但是有放洋葱炒饭真的香很多，也蛮好吃的。这是两人份的炒饭--->

玉蜀黍汤是我很喜欢喝的汤之一。里面有放carrot，蘑菇，鸡肉块和corn。这汤头很甜，玉蜀黍的甜味都渗进汤里了。

不如意！

人生的不如意，十之八九。但是为什么没做错也要被骂呢？
昨天本来是很开心的星期五，但是就因为这事让我很生气！
当我reject了一个没有g-code的deal时，电话就响起。
Me: Hello?
Her: r u mei huey?
Me: yes.
Her: why you reject my deal?
Me: there is no g-code, I can't approve.
Her: I have put g-code!
Me: No. There is no!
Her: Yes. I have!
Me: If in your quotation there is g-code, that doesn't mean in adam you have. Anyhow, I already reject, please resubmit with g-code.
Her: No. Now I don't understand why you reject me!
Me: As I told, there is no g-code in adam.
Her: YES! I HAVE G-CODE there!
Me: Please give me your form ID. Let me print screen to you.

After i print screen and forward to her. She keep quiet and said will check. See?!

5min later....
She come to me and ask me go to her cubicle, want show me the g-code. Well, I just follow.

Me: you write in the comment is useless, you must make sure your g-code is there in adam.
Her team leader: the g-code will not appear if we have many quotations!! (with stupid angry voice)
Me: So far we can approve with many quotations provided with g-code.
Her team leader: this can not be. unless we seperate by each quotation. (then she shout again!) Now u resubmit! (talking to her staff) with different quotations! now we want do easier way! but they don't want!

I just walk away right after she shout at me. I am not so stupid stand there let her scold.
She still continue shouting without using her brxxx. Well, can say very super low EQ? Haha..

Right after I sit down on my cub, i just keep quiet and try to calm down myself.

After 5 min..
I went to my senior and manager, tell the incident. I am not doing wrong, I just follow the procedure. If want escalate, I don't care!

Below is my manager statement to me that make me very frustrated and fed up with this job!
She said "actually if you spend the time to argue with them, actually you can check the g-code in smarts and approve for them"

WTH she talking about? In the meeting, is everybody agreement to reject!
Well, I know what to do next time!

美美的星期天下午 (28-Sep-08)

嘿嘿。。今天星期天，心情特别好。很有mood扮美美，敷个mask，来个hightea。很悠闲的感觉。

我今天敷了『我的美麗日記紅酒多酚面膜』 ，这是我妹托台湾朋友买的。一盒有10片，她让我用了一片。原本放在我衣橱里有两个月了，今天终于要用它了。拿出来时是很湿很湿的，敷了就越敷越舒服，敷完就有水分饱满的感觉。

这是我的hightea，也是我的lunch。因为早餐吃得太饱了，所以就直接hightea咯。
我的hightea有点丑，薏米水是我煲的，蒸馒头还不错但是买来时就是这样丑丑的。见笑啦。。

久违的龟苓膏 (27-Sep-08)

好久没做龟苓膏了，今天他一直要我做给他吃。看在有人那么赏脸的份上，就算很想睡午觉，也还是乖乖的进厨房做龟苓膏咯。
太久没做，还是要看说明才能开始。这次没做bearbear的，只是用plastic碗，做得很像外面在卖的。其实也是因为懒惰啦。。hehehe。。

Domino's Pizza

最近Domino's Pizza开了一间在我家附近。它家pizza是free delivery 的。听朋友说好吃过Pizza Hut。那天很懒惰煮晚餐，就想试试这pizza。打了电话，在线上等了很久，有点不耐烦了，也许是开斋的时间比较忙。怎知他们接了电话，还问了很多问题，原来是要我们的information，好让他们在下一次接到我们的order时能更快的送上pizza。他们还保证会在30min里送上pizza到我们家，不然就会free 一个pizza哦。
当我等到25min时，pizza还没来，原以为他们一定迟到，哈哈，又有一个free pizza咯。怎知话才说完，就听到有人在门外: "harlo..harlo.." 哈哈。。真有效率啊！

我order了regular Domino’s pizza sauce BBQ chicken - crunchy thin crust ，真的很不错，料蛮多的，不像pizza hut那样料都放得稀稀疏疏的，只吃到面包。-.-"
